Libya will soon suffer the fate of Iraq. According to the World Food Program, a United Nations outfit, the north African country will soon experience a food crisis. In a statement, the organization said the engineered armed conflict in the country is seriously undermining the supply and distribution of perishable goods.

In 2003, the same thing happened in Iraq after the United States invaded to save the world from WMDs that did not exist, that were invented by a cabal of neocons ensconced in the Pentagon.

On March 20, 2003, the BBC reported that the country faced “the largest and most costly humanitarian crisis in history” following the U.S. invasion and the collapse of the oil-for-food program and the departure of U.N. personnel.

Iraq was dependent on globalist hand-outs after more than a decade of medieval sanctions. 500,000 children died as a result. Former Clinton Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said the engineered murder of a half million innocents was a price worth paying. Children of nations declared to be “rogue” by banksters are always the first to suffer and die.

Actually, according to UNICEF, 1,211,285 children died of embargo-related causes between August 1990 and August 1997, a number that reminds one of the toll inflicted on Cambodia by Pol Pot, a CIA asset who was allowed to conduct genocide after Kissinger and Nixon killed around 600,000 civilians and paved the way for Pol Pot’s slaughter of from 1.4 to 2.2 million out of a population of around 7 million.


Before George Bush the Elder invaded Iraq under the false pretense of protecting the former Iraqi province of Kuwait – before the Brits took over, Kuwait was the Ottoman Empire province of Basra – Iraq enjoyed 92 percent access to clean water, 93 percent access to high quality health care and high educational and nutritional standards. It was the envy of the Arab world, despite the rule of the CIA-trained thug Saddam Hussein.

Now 55 percent have no clean drinking water and 80 percent are not connected to the sewage system. Prior to Bush’s invasion to save the slant drilling monarchy in Kuwait from Saddam Hussein, illiteracy in Iraq had been all but eliminated. Now the illiteracy rate has increased to over 25 percent. In some parts of the country, it stands at 40-50 percent among women, according to the NGO Save the Children.

Now the elite are doing the same thing to Libya, a country with the highest living standard in Africa. The country ranks 53rd on the HDI index, better than all other African countries and also better than Saudi Arabia. Libya has the highest GDP at purchasing power parity per capita of all of Africa. The country has a lower percentage of people living below the poverty line than in the Netherlands.

Libya is now in the process of being decimated by Obama, Sarkozy, NATO, the United Nations and a cobbled together globalist coalition of the willing. A relatively well-off Arab country cannot be allowed to remain outside the clutches of international finance. It must be under the iron-fisted rule of a thug who takes orders from Wall Street and international finance. The Libyan people must be on the edge of starvation and under constant threat of bacterial diarrhea, hepatitis A, typhoid fever, and other preventable diseases like Iraq now is. Waterborne disease has been off the charts since the Pentagon targeted the country’s water supply system during the 1991 Gulf War.

Gaddafi is no doubt a dictator, but he is no better or worse than any number of other dictators, including Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. In fact, prior to the engineered conflict to take out Gaddafi, the United Nations praised Libya’s human rights record. “In the course of preparation for war, the country was suddenly transformed into the most evil dictatorship. Even many war opponents accepted this characterization as their own,” writes John Catalinotto.


The World Food Program says current food stocks in Libya may last only 45 to 60 days after which many people will be forced to cut back on meals. Daly Belgasmi of the WFP told reporters in Geneva that Libya’s private economy has been hit by the exodus of foreigners who worked in food production such as bakeries.

Because Gaddafi demanded higher prices for oil and a larger percentage of profit from revenues usually siphoned off by transnational oil corporations, he was marked for removal, possibly assassination. As recently as 2009, Gaddafi threatened to nationalize Libya’s oil.

The war against Gaddafi, of course, has nothing to do with human rights, a humanitarian crisis, or democracy. It is not even specifically about oil.

It is about the dollar and its status as a reserve currency. “The fiat US dollar only survives as the world’s reserve currency because the majority of the oil producers demand payment in dollars,” writes Ron Holland.

“Remember, it’s all about the dollar being maintained for a while longer as the world reserve currency and oil resources. The establishment of democratic forms of government or whether the people will have a decision over their future in the area is immaterial to the survival of the status quo in Washington and the region.”

Top Mexican Drug Lord: I Trafficked Cocaine For The U.S. Government

The “logistical coordinator” for a top Mexican drug-trafficking gang that was responsible for purchasing the CIA torture jet that crashed with four tons on cocaine on board back in 2007 has told the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago that he has been working as a U.S. government asset for years.

Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla is the son of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada Garcia, one of the top kingpins of the Sinaloa drug-trafficking organization. Niebla was arrested in Mexico in March 2009 and extradited to the United States to stand trial last February.

“The indictment pending against Zambada Niebla claims he served as the “logistical coordinator” for the “cartel,” helping to oversee an operation that imported into the U.S. “multi-ton quantities of cocaine … using various means, including but not limited to, Boeing 747 cargo aircraft, private aircraft … buses, rail cars, tractor trailers, and automobiles,”writes Narcosphere’s Bill Conroy.

In a two page court pleading filed with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago, Niebla claims that he was working on behalf and with the authority of, “The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”); and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”); and the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”),” since January 1, 2004.


Niebla is also connected to the Gulfstream II jet that wrecked with four tons of cocaine on board on September 24, 2007. European investigators linked the plane’s tail number, N987SA, to past CIA “rendition” operations. The bill of sale for the Gulfstream jet, sold weeks before it crashed, listed the name of Greg Smith, a pilot who had previously worked for the FBI, DEA and CIA.The plane was purchased by Niebla’s Sinaloa drug-trafficking organization through a syndicate of Colombian drug-traffickers that included a CIA asset named Nelson Urrego, according to another undercover CIA operative, Baruch Vega, who was involved in the deal.

“The Gulfstream II jet, according to Mexican authorities, was among a number of aircraft acquired by the Sinaloa drug organization via an elaborate money laundering scheme involving a chain of Mexican casa de cambios (currency exchange houses) overseen by alleged Sinaloa organization operative Pedro Alfonso Alatorre Damy, according to Mexican government and U.S. media reports,” writes Conroy.

Sinaloa bought the jet by wiring money through the U.S. banking giant Wachovia, now a subsidiary of Wells Fargo. “In total, nearly $13 million dollars went through correspondent bank accounts at Wachovia for the purchase of aircraft to be used in the illegal narcotics trade. From these aircraft, more than 20,000 kilograms of cocaine were seized,” states Wachovia’s deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice. Wachovia was forced to pay a penalty of around $160 million dollars for allowing the money to be laundered through its correspondent bank accounts.

“So, the criminal cases pending against alleged Colombian narco-trafficker Urrego, accused money-launderer Damy and Sinaloa organization logistics chief Zambada Niebla all appear to connect through the Gulfstream II cocaine jet at some level,” summarizes Conroy.

Another private aircraft that was full of cocaine crashed in New Mexico on Sunday morning, but the plane has yet to be identified.

In addition to smuggling narcotics into the United States, Niebla is also accused of obtaining weapons from the U.S. with the intent to use them to cause violence in Mexico City, leading to the murders of several innocent people. Despite the fact that the Obama administration has cited the flow of guns from the U.S. into Mexico as an excuse with which to attack the second amendment rights of Americans, it was recently revealed that the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives deliberately allowed guns to be smuggled from the U.S. into the hands of Mexican drug lords under “Operation Fast and Furious”. President Obamalater denied that he had any knowledge of the program.Niebla’s assertion that he smuggled drugs from Mexico into the United States while working for the U.S. government adds further weight to the already voluminous body of evidence that confirms the CIA and U.S. banking giants are the top players in a global drug trade worth hundreds of billions of dollars a year, information made public by the likes of Gary Webb, who it was claimed committed suicide in 2004 despite the fact that he was found with two gunshot wounds to the head and after Webb himself had complained of death threats and “government people” stalking his home.

In a follow-up to his original article, veteran newspaper reporter and Bilderberg sleuth Jim Tucker told Alex Jones today that the globalists fully intend to launch a ground invasion of Libya and also jack up the price of gas to $7 per gallon. In 2007, Jose Barroso, president of the European Commission and a Bilderberg member, called for a “post-industrial revolution” under the guise of eliminating so-called greenhouse gases. The failed 2009Copenhagen climate summit was an effort to impose a lower standard of living on the United States and much of the Western world.

In order to usher in the a new feudal society and implement authoritarian control over humanity, the global elite must slash the standard of living across the board. They plan to this through the United Nations and Agenda 21 and demands for “sustainable development.”

Maurice Strong, a commissioner of the World Commission on Environment and Development at the United Nations, spelled out the Brave New World the elite have in mind for us when he stated that “current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work-place air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable. A shift is necessary toward lifestyles less geared to environmentally damaging consumption patterns.”

In 2005, Tucker and fellow Bilderberg sleuth and author Daniel Estulin cited inside sources that indicated oil prices would double within a year.

During the 2006 Bilderberg meetingin Ottawa, Canada, the elite agreed to push for $105 a barrel before the end of 2008.Crude oil futures peaked at a close of over $77 in July 2006, and in December 2006 at about $63. In September 2007, U.S. crude crossed $80. Less than a year later, on July 11, 2008, oil prices rose to a newrecord of $147.27. The price settled to around $125 a barrel on July 24, 2008. In March of that year,Goldman Sachs predicted a “super-spike” in crude prices that would push the price over $200 a barrel.


In order to put this into perspective, consider that oil stood at $17 a barrel in January of 1999.

On October 26, 2008, pastor Lindsey Williams, who worked closely with transnational oil corporations in Alaska, was told by his insider sources that the price of oil would fall to around $50 per barrel. On December 21, 2008, oil was trading at $33.87 a barrel, less than one fourth of the peak price reached four months earlier. Paster Williams said the elite would then take the price back up through the stratosphere, a process we are now witnessing firsthand at the gas pump.

Estulin’s insider information has proven accurate in the past. In 2006, the researcher’sBilderberg sources told him the elite planned to implode the artificially inflated housing bubble, create an economic crash, implement a global centralization of banking power, and use the crash as an excuse to call for world government.

In 2007, during the annual Bilderberg conference, Henry Kissinger told attendees that the elite had resolved to make sure oil prices doubled within 12-24 months, “which is exactly what has happened,” Paul Joseph Watson wrote on September 17, 2007.

The investigation, if it can properly be so called, of the unsolved murder of the former high ranking Pentagon official and presidential advisor John P. Wheeler III, who was also an expert on chemical and biological weapons, may be taking a turn in the direction of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Wheeler, 67, a West Point grad, was beaten and thrown into a garbage dumpster. His body was discovered in a Wilmington, Del. landfill last New Year’s weekend. Both police detectives and news commentators described it as “an apparent hit,” but little else was ever learned, and no suspects have surfaced.

There was great speculation by many at the time that Wheeler had begun to blow the whistle on the mysterious bird and fish deaths in Arkansas and Texas, and was about to expose the facts tying this to the chemtrails seen in our skies over the past decade.

Now the speculation may be reverting to British Petroleum and the gulf spill because a number of other BP whistle blowing scientists, before and since the Wheeler murder, have also died mysteriously, been jailed on questionable charges or disappeared without a trace.

Matthew Simmons, 67, a former energy advisor to President George W. Bush and admired among survivalist groups for his dire warnings on the upcoming commodity and fuel shortages about to hit this nation, died in his hot tub in Maine last August. Simmons had been gaining popularity as a whistle blower for blaming BP for its covered-up responsibility in defacing and vandalizing the Gulf of Mexico while hiding the truth from the general public.

Only four days later, Ted Stevens, the 87-year-old defrocked senator from Alaska, said to have received communications regarding BP’s faulty blowout preventer, perished in a plane crash. British Petroleum had donated $1 million to the University of Alaska to catalog the papers from Stevens’s long political career.


Roger Grooters began a cross country bike ride in Oceanside, Calif. on Sept. 10 to draw attention to the Gulf Coast oil disaster. On Oct. 6, in front of the horrified eyes of his wife, who was trailing in a support vehicle, Grooters was struck by a truck and killed instantly in Panama City, Fla.

Only a month later, Dr. Geoffrey Gardner of Lakeland, Fla. disappeared. He was investigating the unexplained bird deaths near Sarasota that are suspected to have been caused by the BP oil disaster. No one has heard from or spoken with him since.

On Nov. 15, Chitra Chaunhan was found dead of cyanide poisoning in a Temple Terrace, Fla. hotel. It was officially ruled a suicide. She worked in the Center for Biological Defense and Global Health Infectious Disease Research and left behind a husband and five-year-old child.

The following week, James Patrick Black, director of operations for BP’s restoration organization for the oil spill, died near Destin, Fla. in a small plane crash.

Dr. Thomas B. Manton was one of the first to warn the public that far more oil than what BP had reported was gushing into the gulf every day and that the massive, toxic oil and chemical plumes would travel up the eastern seaboard, contaminating beaches and wildlife all the way.

“Once the winds change, it will come eastward and pollute the beaches of the west coast of Florida, and the ‘loop current’ could carry this oil spill right around Florida, through the Florida Keys and pollute the east coast of Florida as well,” Manton wrote on May 28, 2010.

Dr. Tom Termotto, national coordinator of the Gulf Oil Spill Remediation Conference, says Manton was murdered in prison. Manton had been sentenced to 15 years last August on a phony child pornography charge. Termotto and others say evidence was planted on his computer.

It is not known whether or not Anthony Nicholas Tremonte, 31, posed any threat to BP, but he too was arrested in January and charged with one count of possession of child pornography. Was this charge also faked? As an officer with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources on the Gulf Coast, he may have known enough to qualify him for membership in this exclusive series of coincidences. He faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.

DHS Launches New Alert System Designed to Terrorize Public

     According to officialdom, the color-coded alert system was dumped because it didn’t provide enough information on supposed threats. Under the new system, an “elevated” threat will include a “credible” threat of terrorism while an “imminent” threat would warn of a “credible, specific and impending threat,” according to DHS bureaucrats.

The new system, called the National Terrorism Advisory System, is necessary according to Napolitano because the old color-coded system did not communicate enough fear-based information. “What was the threat? What were you supposed to do? Where were you supposed to go to get up-to-date information?” In addition, the older system “had no natural way to be reduced if a threat dissipated or was removed,” she explained.

In addition to ferreting out exaggerated and fictional threats to the corporate media – threats easily ignored under the old system – the new system will feed them to Facebook and Twitter as well. Government engineered fear-mongering will soon invade social networks and become more personalized.

A 2003 beta test in Virginia included sending local residents “free subscriptions to emergency alerts, which are delivered to personal digital assistants or mobile phones,” wrote Elsa Wenzel of PCWorld. The technology was designed to tailor messages to specific zip codes, alerting residents to supposed dangers – white al-Qaeda lurking about with cameras, for instance (see the above cop training video) – in their own neighborhoods.

The new DHS system reveals a larger plan by the government to install a sprawling fear-based electronic matrix that sends text messages over our wireless devices and posts terror warnings using the full range of social media, including microblogging services, Facebook and Twitter instant messages. In the not too distant future, we can expect endlessly issued and fatuous terror alerts to be accompanied by increased presence of goons in full black-clad regalia of the militarized police state at public buildings and the local mall as the control grid expands from the nation’s airports and travel infrastructure to local neighborhoods. Intrusive pat-downs and mobile naked body scanners at the mall are on the agenda in the months ahead.

The goal of endless harebrained terror alerts is to get us acclimated to the presence of cops and a network of tattletales, snoops and informers serving the larger Stasi-state America has become.

Pirate Party Canada Launch VPN to Fight Censorship

Following pressure from the US Government, Canada is preparing to ram through a revamped copyright bill that will have disastrous consequences for consumers.

Michael Geist, prof. E-commerce Law in Ottawa, previously describedthe bill as “the most anti-consumer copyright bill in Canadian history.”

When the new bill passes it will open the door for widespread interception and monitoring of Internet users. To protect Canadians from these ‘rights violations” the Pirate Party Canada will soon launch a VPN service.


With this VPN Canadians can protect themselves, and at the same time the also help people in other countries where Internet censorship is rampant. Previously, Pirate Party Canada already provided citizens of Tunisia with free VPNs when the Government censored the Internet there.

“We will provide VPN service to Canadians at a rate of 10$/ 200GB. For every paid account we open, we will also provide a free VPN account to a citizen of a nation with censored Internet,” Said party leader Mikkel Paulson today.

“This allows us to simultaneously provide protection to Canadians and expand our humanitarian support abroad. No logs will be kept of the activity, although we will of course cooperate with law enforcement in the event of abuse of our services.”

Every day the news gets worse. Today it was robots telling us that radiation is so hot inside the nuclear plant in Japan that workers will have a hard to impossible time to work in certain areas to recover the plant from worst case scenarios. Radiation levels are just heading up across the board and across continents. Sunday morning the news was so bad that I didn’t know what to do or write.
I could try screaming but I am not the type…or crying, well that comes almost too easily. Perhaps I am crazy. After all, Ann Coulter got on TV and actually said, “The only good news is that anyone exposed to excess radiation from the nuclear power plants is now probably much less likely to get cancer.” And Dr. Josef Oehmen, a research scientist at MIT, said, “I repeat, there was and will *not* be any significant release of radioactivity from the damaged Japanese reactors.”

I wrote some pretty crass words the other day to begin an essay:
Avoiding exposure and radiation-induced diseases might come down to, I am terribly sorry to say, running for our lives. Anyone who cannot accept this is the reality millions of Japanese face is probably not worth saving so let them consume all the milk and unwashed leafy vegetables they can.
I got two probably well-deserved complaints about it. I allowed myself the expression as my first lines in a terrible document about the worsening situation in Japan and I could feel my anger building about the insensitivity of our world civilization and its institutions.
My editors also allowed me the expression and still I don’t know how to express it differently, not really. My heart keeps crying silently for my friends and family in America. I mean I know how everyone must feel knowing that radiation exposure will very shortly be drizzling into most places in North America and the rest of the hemispheric north 24/7. Today, if you look at the maps, mid-range levels of radiation are hitting the west coast. The forecast for April 19 looked like this:

How I’m supposed to be real and not use four-letter words is a mystery to my heart this second. Tell me how am I to feel saying something like that. What kind of being would take pleasure in making such aradioactive weather forecast? How many fathers are sitting on the beach, like I was yesterday with four of my six kids, looking out from the point furthest east in all the Americas, the point closest to Africa, and see about 2,000 miles away the leading edge of the nuclear pollution hitting a back draft from northern Africa. And my wife is attached to our life here in this great sea city and does not want to move to Sanctuary in the interior.

I have to be upset for I have to make sure everyone in the house, and that’s a lot of people, are taking their iodine way out in advance of any incoming iodine radiation. Down here that really will not be a problem because of its very short half-life. After three months there is very little left but all the other nuclear particles will have no problem eventually finding their way down here to the southern hemisphere. Just look at what has been from one month of exposure to the north. Look at these maps repeatedly for effect! That is unless you prefer to drink some milk with some radiation. I don’t think any of my readers would want to but I am not so sure about all the people who buy the mainstream news hook, line and sinker.

There are plenty who are saying radiation is good for you and probably are planning on going to the northeast of Japan instead of the Dead Sea to bathe in the healing waters. Well perhaps not, but remember, there have been a lot of important people running around for decades saying that nuclear energy is safe and use it all the time to treat and diagnose disease.

Even radioactive iodine is pumped into people by doctors, so hurray for the nuclear disaster, bring on some more, which might be coming if you look at what is happening in terms of increasing earthquake and volcanic activity. So yes, I am sorry, but I will stick to my guns. There are people on this planet I would say go ahead, drink the milk and consume lots of big leafy vegetables — it might save them a trip to Japan!

Meanwhile for all those who think: okay, well it’s only four or five nuclear reactors out of control and only a few nuclear pools with older spent nuclear rods melting, but we should be able to handle that right? Remember the other day when Dr. Michio Kaku said all it would take is one thing like a pipe breaking or another earthquake to make this situation even more catastrophic than it already is? Look at this video about seismic activity in the world.

Twisted Medical Establishment Lost on Radiation Issues

How are the good doctors of the world going to deal with medical insanity and pharmaceutical terrorism now? One of the reasons the medical establishment is incapable of responding to the nuclear threat and the spreading contamination from Japan (that is circling around the globe) is that it is an institution that loves to use radioactive iodine, a substance that causes cancer, to treat cancer. Sounds kind of crazy and it is. Many patients are getting a thyroid cancer treatment that kills thyroid tissue, causing harm to other tissues while at the same time actually increasing the potential for thyroid cancer.

According to a new study published in Cancer, researchers are fingering doctors who are treating patients with early-stage, low-risk thyroid cancer using radioactive iodine, whichdoes not increase their chances of surviving but does instead put them at risk for a secondary cancer. “Our study shows that these low-risk patients do not need radioactive iodine,” Dr. Ian Ganly, one of the study’s authors from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, told Reuters Health “Therefore there is no need to expose these patients to any risk from (radioactive iodine) treatment,” he said in an email.

The American Thyroid Association endorses the use of radioactive iodine even though it alsocauses cancer of the salivary gland — where radioactive iodine may accumulate — as well asleukemia. Dr. Ganly said the risk of leukemia increases because radioactive iodine circulates in the blood, thus exposing bone marrow to its tissue-killing effects.

Don’t be totally surprised if they announce that radioactive iodine from the out-of-control nuclear plant is good for the public and will save money because then patients will not need to pay for their radioactive iodine medications. The radioactive iodine taken in from the air,water and food will find its way into everyone’s thyroids saving oncologists the trouble. Excuse my heavy sarcasm this morning; it’s difficult to stay even-keeled as I write.

There are people and doctors who have said the little bit of mercury found in the flu and other vaccines is good for kids but, lo and behold, I read this morning that Poul Thorsen, the principal coordinator of multiple studies funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who used to deny a vaccine/autism link, was indicted on April 13th on 13 counts of fraud and 9 counts of money-laundering. The charges relate to funding for work he conducted for the CDC that claimed to disprove associations between the mercury-basedvaccine preservative, thimerosal, and increased rates of autism.

Now anyone with a cow’s worth of sense would have understood that a strong neurotoxin like mercury was a strong neurotoxin. Gee people, don’t you see how retarded ignorance rules in the CDC, FDA, AMA, WHO and dozens of other medical organizations? Stupid does not quite cover it does it? Now we know it’s criminal, it’s greed, and it’s the politics of power and darkness on earth at its best.

Why should we be alarmed about nuclear fallout of radioactive iodine? Doctors use it so why should we be afraid of breathing it, eating it or taking it for breakfast in our milk and coffee? And why take nutritional iodine? It will only interfere with the uptake of the radioactive type! That’s what oncologists seem to want and it seems that is why these are the last people on earth we should trust during a nuclear crisis.

Dr. Edward Golembe, who directs a hyperbaric oxygen chamber at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, said he had treated serious radiation injuries to the jaw and called them “a horrible, horrible thing to see.” When we deal with radiation we deal with death for it is the death principle that doctors are trying to harness with terrible results. Most people who employ radiation in their treatments for cancer suffer horribly, but some worse than others.

Just being alive today is to walk through the valley of the shadow of death in terms of radiation exposure. Background radiation on earth has increased in the nuclear age coming from all the above-ground testing of the last century, nuclear plants, nuclear waste, uraniummining, and from depleted uranium weapons that are commonly used in the American, British and Israeli armies and navies and air forces. In addition there is constant and increasing exposure to other forms of radiation from microwave towers, cell phones, wireless phones and computer systems.

UK Sends In Troops As Ground Invasion Of Libya Accelerates

Unleashing yet another deft salvo of Orwellian doublespeak, the British government announced today that it would be sending in military forces to “help” Libyan rebels while still insisting that it is not sending in military forces, as the EU gears up to dispatch a further 1,000 troops, also under the dubious pretense of preventing humanitarian suffering.

Now that the globalists’ Al-Qaeda backed rebel forces are getting soundly trounced by Gaddafi’s army, western powers have embarked on a propaganda crusade to create a pretext for a ground invasion, despite the fact that it directly violates their own UN resolution. By sending in scout parties of troops, the globalists are desperately trying to goad Gaddafi into attacking so-called “peacekeepers” so that a case for wider intervention can be concocted.

Following the EU’s announcement that it is seeking UN authorization to dispatch 1,000 troopsinto the country whose job it will be to “secure sea and land corridors inside the country,” the British government announced today that special military officers will be sent into Benghazi to “help the fight against Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.”

“The extra personnel will add to a UK diplomatic team that is already liasing with rebel leaders in the eastern city,” reports Sky News.

Conservative MP John Baron said that the latest decision “tantamounts to regime change,” and slammed Foreign Secretary William Hague for not holding a second debate in Parliament.

Of course, the fact that British Special Forces, along with American and French troops, were already on the ground in February in Libya training rebel forces before the “no fly zone” was even voted on last month has been completely overlooked.

Despite dubious claims that the role of British military assets will be to teach rebels “how not to get killed,”as we have documented, the entire “humanitarian” ruse that has been used to sell the aggressive act of war is a complete fabrication. The EU has made it clear that if their forces are impeded in any way from taking over entire regions of the country, they will attack Gaddafi’s troops.

Figures provided by Human Rights Watch prove that Gaddafi has not embarked on a deliberate policy to massacre innocent people. After two months of warfare, just 257 people in Misurata, a city with a population of 400,000, have been killed. Of the 949 wounded, just 22 are women, less than 3 per cent.

As University of Texas Professor Alan J. Kuperman writes in the Boston Globe, “If Khadafy were indiscriminately targeting civilians, women would comprise about half the casualties.”

In addition, a mission by the British Civilians For Peace in Libya organization found “no evidence” that Colonel Gaddafi’s forces had attacked, bombed or killed any civilians in western Libya, after the group spent a week touring Tripoli and other areas in the country.

“In their interim findings, the campaign group claimed they had been able to “corroborate civilian casualties and fatalities due to Nato bombing” but “could find no evidence that three areas of Tripoli cited in UN resolution 1973 had been subjected to government forces bombardment,” reports Sky News.

Globalist forces are now fully committed to a ground invasion and destabilization campaign in Africa’s richest oil country, and they will not stop at manufacturing any pretext to oversee regime change in Libya. A staged attack on western interests either domestically or abroad will be blamed on Gaddafi, or a new humanitarian hoax in a similar vein to Kuwaiti incubator babies or Serbian death camps will be invented as a means of securing a second UN resolution to completely ransack the country and overthrow Gaddafi.

ACLU Urges U.S. Sentencing Commission to Restore Basic Fairness to Criminal Justice System

On March 21, the ACLU submitted recommendations to the U.S. Sentencing Commission in response to the commission’s request for public comments on a variety of proposed amendments to the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines. In the comments, the ACLU urges the commission to:

• minimize the role of drug quantity as a driving factor in sentencing
• make the United States Sentencing Guidelines that implement the Fair Sentencing Act retroactive
• reduce the sentencing guidelines for all drugs offenses
• allow courts to impose a sentence below a statutory mandatory minimum on certain instances

The overarching theme of the ACLU’s comments is that by adopting the policies described above, the Sentencing Commission can take a major step toward restoring basic fairness in our criminal justice system. In the 40 years since President Nixon‘s declaration of a “war on drugs,” America has spent approximately one trillion dollars pursuing a failed policy that has had little to no effect on the supply of or demand for drugs in the United States. In fact, the major result of this “war” is that it has helped earn America the lamentable distinction of incarcerating more people – in absolute numbers and per capita – than any other nation in the world. To make matters worse, this population disproportionately and overwhelmingly consists of individuals of color and the poor.

As the independent agency responsible for setting sentencing policies for the federal courts, the commission needs to take specific practical steps to reinstate confidence in our criminal justice system. By reducing unequal and unnecessary drug sentences the commission would help wean America off its misguided reliance on ineffective, draconian policies for drug offenders that have promoted not only racial disparities in sentencing but also a sustained and costly explosion in the number of people in the federal penal system.


Many states — including Kentucky, New Jersey and Washington — have already embraced meaningful drug sentencing reform, and the ACLU will continue working with the Sentencing Commission, the administration and Congress to ensure that the federal criminal justice system also imposes sentences that protect the public and preserve precious financial resources.
